1. Minimalist Data Philosophy
Chifos.com is a personal project sandbox. I believe in a minimal data footprint. When you use Google OAuth to sign in, here is exactly what happens with your data:
- Authentication: I use Google OAuth so I never see, handle, or store your passwords.
- Identity: I receive your email address and basic profile info (name/picture) solely to identify your account and save your progress within my apps.
- No Tracking: I do not use tracking pixels, advertising, or third-party analytics.
2. Cookies
I use functional "Auth Cookies" strictly to keep you logged into the sessions you initiate. These are not used for cross-site tracking.
3. Resilience & Control (Deletion)
I respect your right to be forgotten. You have full control over your data:
- Wipe Options: Apps on this site are designed to include a "Wipe My Data" or "Delete Account" button.
- Manual Purge: If you cannot find a deletion option, simply email me and I will manually purge your records from my databases and logs.
